Parkinson's Boxing

Boxing has been proven effective at fighting back against Parkinson’s. Exercise is a key factor to improving function and delaying the process of this disease. Boxing is perfect because it targets a wide variety of skills that have been diminished by Parkinson’s such as balance, agility, coordination, speed, strength, and more.

As a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant Chelsea became certified in Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery Program (PWR) and has been teaching a group class since. She has also been training martial arts for the past 7 years.
